There is something interactive about consciousness- we change what we observe at the quantum level. I think it's arrogant to think there's nothing beyond what we perceive. From science, we have the concepts of dark matter and dark energy that are supposed to be 95% of the universe, and we're still in the early stages of understanding them.
Wonderful writing, Adam! Looking at Henriques' "Tree of Knowledge" graphic reminds me of having my mind blown (and reassembled in a good way!) upon reading Ludwig Bertalaffny's book "General Systems Theory". In my work, I rely on a bio-psycho-socio-environmental model of human nature for discovering where the "problem" lies and how to get some leverage to fix it. Embracing those 4 levels simultaneously seems to work much better than running with only one of them as many specialists tend to do. But it can also sometimes give me a headache!
As I read this, I am wondering… is this an example of the idea that all reality is perception? Or, is there something beyond what we can perceive?

Very interesting. There's a lot there in the inter-relationships. I really like how you broke this down.
